Welcome to Kuwait CyberChamps—a groundbreaking program that equips students like you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of cybersecurity. Open to students between 13 and 18 years old, the Kuwait CyberChamps event is powered by IDRAK, supported by the Ministry of Education, and the National Cybersecurity Centre. It’s designed to inspire and train the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Whether you’re into coding, programming, graphic design, or leadership, this program is for you.
Purpose
The Kuwait CyberChamps program aims to:
- Develop digital talents and cybersecurity skills.
- Provide real-world experience through competition and hands-on projects.
- Offer a platform for Kuwaiti youth to interact with professionals in the field.
- Encourage teamwork, leadership, and innovation.
Phases of the Program
Here is a breakdown of the exciting journey of the program:
- Registration
The first step is simple—register online! Middle and high school students enrolled in public or private schools in Kuwait can participate. - Take the Online Course to Prepare for the Assessment
Once registered, you will have access to study guides and learning resources through our free CyberChamps Course page. - Online Qualification Assessment
After you’ve had some time to study up, you’ll take part in a one-hour online assessment at a specific date and time. This is your chance to prove your skills and stand out from the crowd. The top performers move on to the next round! - Personal Interviews
If you’re shortlisted, you’ll be invited for a personal interview. This is your opportunity to showcase your passion and demonstrate why you should be part of the program. - Bootcamp: The CyberChamps Training Ground
This is where the real fun begins! You’ll undergo an intensive bootcamp covering key areas like cybersecurity fundamentals, AI, coding, web development, and even public speaking. By the end, you’ll be well-prepared for the challenges ahead. - Teamwork and Solutions Development
You’ll be placed in teams to collaborate on real-world problems, developing innovative solutions and working together to prepare for the final competition. - Capture the Flag (CTF) & Hackathon
It’s competition time! First, you’ll participate in a Capture the Flag event to put your cybersecurity skills to the test. Then, in a thrilling hackathon, your team will develop solutions to complex challenges and present them to industry experts. - Networking and Closing Ceremony
Throughout the event, you’ll have the chance to network with professionals and explore future career opportunities in cybersecurity. Finally, the program will wrap up with a celebratory closing ceremony to honor your hard work and achievements.
