GreenTech Innovators: Reimagining Sustainability in Kuwait

A BP Kuwait CSR Program Executed by IDRAK Training & Consulting



Introduction:

GreenTech Innovators is a nationwide challenge that invites high school students across Kuwait to develop simple, creative solutions to real environmental issues using STEM, innovation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students aged 14–18 will explore challenges such as water scarcity, waste management, pollution, renewable energy, or habitat protection, and design a practical idea that combines STEM with AI to create meaningful impact.

No prior experience is required, and finalists receive introductory AI training during the virtual bootcamp.
Who Can Participate

High school students in Kuwait aged 14–18, from public or private schools, forming teams of 3 to 5 students.
Program Timeline:

  • Nov–Jan: Registration & idea submission
  • Early Jan: Finalists announced January 18th
  • Jan: Virtual AI & Innovation Bootcamp January 20th to 22nd, 2026
  • Jan–Mar: Project execution & mentorship. Launching Event January 24th.
  • April: Final showcase & awards ceremony April 11th, 2026
How to Participate:

  1. Register through the form below
  2. Form a team of 3–5 students
  3. Submit your project proposal by the deadline January 15th
Project Guidelines :

Each project should identify a clear environmental problem in Kuwait and propose a STEM- based solution that incorporates an AI element such as prediction, detection, optimisation, or automation. Solutions should be realistic, creative, and aligned with Kuwait’s sustainability needs.
